We would like to recognize these two Kentucky High School Cheer coaches for the contributions they are making to the sport of Cheerleading and to their programs and athletes. These two wonderful women were selected as Kentucky’s ‘Who’s Who among High School Cheerleading Coaches’ in the American Cheerleader Coach’s Handbook 2007.
Teresa J. Bewley
Barren County High School, Glasgow, KY
Teresa has coached cheerleading for 26 years! Her competition record includes 3 regional titles, 6 national titles, and 5 state titles. She considers her personal best as being a KAPOS Coach of the Year and board member as well as a NCCC Coach of the Year Finalist. Teresa gives her time through community service for the Winter Lights Program, American Heart Walk, toy and food drives, Chamber of Commerce, clinics, and nursing home visits.

Karen Feldhaus
Madison Central High School, Richmond, KY
Karen has coached cheerleading for 20 years! Her competition record includes 3 national titles, 13 regional titles, and 5 state titles. She considers her personal best to be building the MCHS program to a competitive level and winning in Florida the first year competing. Karen gives her time through community service as an advisor for the Family, Career and Community Leaders program, Elderly Connection project, Santa’s Workshop, coat drive, and to the Children’s Hospital.
